Our fast, friendly, and professional face artists can handle anything from large corporate or city events to family gatherings and community events or small parties. Our award-winning artists are talented and experienced. We provide face painting and balloons for the Utah Jazz playoff games, Hogle Zoo events, BYU athletic events, Thanksgiving Point, Classic Fun Center, and fairs and festivals all over Utah. We provide all our own supplies, carry liability insurance, and are licensed by the state, so you have nothing to worry about! We come to you anywhere along the Wasatch Front, Weber, Box Elder and Cache Counties, and Utah County with no travel fees. Don’t leave your event entertainment to chance. Meet our Artists
Danielle Poulter, Scheduling Contact
Danielle has been face painting since 2011 and started doing henna in 2014. She earned a degree in journalism, but has always loved art. She enjoys the creative outlet that face painting provides and always loves seeing the reaction on people's faces to their transformation. She is also available to instruct face painting and henna workshops for children and adults.
In addition to face painting, Danielle directs a children's choir and teaches voice lessons. She also enjoys distance running, reading, cooking, and travelling.
Danielle is the mother of five children. She lives with her family in Herriman.
Doreen Peck, Design Specialist and Photographer
Doreen has always excelled at art. She began face painting in 2010 and inspired her sisters to begin a face painting businss together. Her creativity allows her to create off-the-cuff designs that wow. She began doing henna in 2012 and creates intricate and structured designs that are truly works of art.
In addition to face painting, Doreen runs a wedding decorating business and works full time as a horticulture specialst on Temple Square. She also works part-time as a floral arranger. She has a Bachelor's Degree in horticulture.
Doreen is the mother of six children and lives in Brigham City. Her hobbies include distance running, cooking, painting and decorating.
Dawna Whitehead, Display Specialist
Dawna is currently an illustration major at UVU, where she excels in many different media. She has been face painting since 2011 and doing henna since 2012. Her face painting and henna designs are always well-executed and she also does well at improvising.
Dawna is originally from Brigham City and has lived in Provo for the last several years. She worked full time as a florist and wedding coordinator at the White Willow reception center for 3 years and is now a full-time student.
She and her husband, Nate, enjoy the outdoors, and caring for their pet fish. They also enjoy face painting together.
Darliece Nye, Treasurer
Darliece joined Fantastic Face Painting when she moved back to Utah from Las Vegas in 2012. She has been doing henna since 2013. In addition to being a skillful face painter she is also very fast and efficient, making her a great asset to our company.
Darliece lives in Herriman with her husband, Derek, and works full time as a dentist at SoJo Dental in South Jordan. She enjoys face painting on the weekends as an artistic outlet.
Darliece enjoys running and working out. She also likes reading fiction and embroidery.
Daricka Nye, Secretary
Daricka took quickly to face painting when she joined the company in 2011. She began doing henna in 2015. She has a natural artistic eye and is able to paint quickly and on-point. She also has a great affinity for children and is sure to delight any child who sits in her chair.
Daricka is currently a full-time student at BYU and plans to pursue a degree in nursing. She enjoys spending time with good friends, singing, and reading.
Doug Nye, President
Doug joined his daughters in face painting in 2011. He has always had an artistic skill, especially painting with oils. As a face painter he does excellent work and enjoys the challenge of creating a new masterpiece on each client.
Doug lives with his wife, DeAnn, in Perry. He works full time as a purchasing specialist for Handi Quilter in North Salt Lake. He is originally from southern Idaho. In his spare time he enjoys working on finishing the basement of his house.
Derek Goronson, Materials Specialist
Derek began face painting with his wife Darliece in 2012. Before that, he was an art student, and has worked in oils, acrylics, and sculpture. He is originally from Las Vegas and currently lives in Herriman.
He is a business student at SLCC and works part time for Infinite Cycles. He is an avid cyclist and competes in triathlons.
